Madison School & Community Recreation

Madison School & Community Recreation, known as MSCR, is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District and the public recreation provider for district residents. It runs afterschool programs, summer camps, youth and adult sports leagues, aquatics, fitness classes, arts and enrichment, outdoor pursuits, day trips and adapted recreation for people of different ages and abilities.

Registration for fall programs is open to Madison Metropolitan School District residents, and the department publishes seasonal program guides. MSCR has operated since 1926 and is marking its centennial. The main office is on East Lakeside Street in Madison.
