Fairchild Restaurant

Fairchild Restaurant is a casual spot on Monroe Street in Madison, run by chefs Itaru Nagano and Andrew Kroeger with partner Patrick Sierra. The kitchen focuses on classic cuisine built around good ingredients and careful technique, with a handmade pasta section and whole-animal butchery planned for the menu. Nagano brings Japanese cooking roots and fine dining experience from L'Etoile and other kitchens into a relaxed setting.

Dinner is served Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 9 pm, with a wine list that Sierra, a former wine program manager at L'Etoile, helped shape.
