Chet's Car Care

Chet's Car Care is an auto repair shop and tire dealer on Aberg Ave on Madison's north side, with 12 service bays and ASE-certified technicians who handle passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs and diesel engines. Repairs include brakes, alignments, exhaust, steering and suspension, engine diagnostics, and state inspections, along with tire sales and services like computer spin balancing and flat repairs.

Service is a family affair: Chet Hermansen opened the original Car Care Center in 1984, and his son Eric now runs the business. Drivers can use the covered drive-through for free fluid top-offs and tire air checks, and a free courtesy shuttle is available. The shop serves Madison, Sun Prairie, Waunakee, Cottage Grove and the rest of Dane County, and is open Monday through Friday.
