Bikes for Kids Wisconsin

Bikes for Kids Wisconsin is a nonprofit bike shop in south Madison that sells donated and refurbished bicycles, offers low-cost tune-ups and repairs, and gives bikes to people facing transportation barriers. The shop also carries bike trailers, tagalongs, baskets, cargo racks, car racks and some affordable e-bikes, new and used. Quick fixes like flat tire repair, brake adjustments and saddle replacement are sometimes done same day.

Mechanics give free estimates, and repair prices are best estimates that can change with the bike's condition and parts availability. Scheduling an appointment is the surest way to get service, though drop-ins are welcome when the shop is not busy. The shop is a quarter mile west of the Cap City Trail off Nob Hill Road, and the nearest Beltline exit is Rimrock Road. Bikes for Kids does not buy, trade or consign bikes, and all sales are final.
