Hadley Pottery

Hadley Pottery makes handmade dinnerware, serveware, mugs, and decor pieces, shaped, hand-painted, and fired in its factory. Its patterns include the Blue Flower, Butchertown, and Fish & Fowl lines, and it also offers personalized pottery for weddings, holidays, and custom messages. The company traces its start to 1939, when Mary Alice Hadley painted her first set of dishes for a houseboat on the Ohio River.

Hadley Pottery is at 1570 Story Ave in Louisville, with an in-store shop open Wednesday through Saturday afternoons. Orders can also be placed online, and gift cards are available for those who want to give a piece of the line without choosing a pattern.
