Sanders' Cookie Jar Bakery

Sanders' Cookie Jar Bakery is a full-line bakery that has been operating in Hagerstown since 1965. It makes decorated cakes, anniversary and special occasion cakes, pies, doughnuts, butter rolls, buns, breads, danishes and, of course, cookies. Baked goods are made on site from scratch by Perry Sanders and his team of bakers and decorators.

The shop is on Pennsylvania Avenue in Hagerstown and is open Monday through Saturday, with shorter hours on Saturday and closed on Sundays. Holiday hours can differ, so it is worth checking ahead. The bakery is a third-generation family business.
