Casimir Bakery

Casimir Bakery makes custom cakes, decorated cookies and handcrafted confections for birthdays, weddings, showers, anniversaries and other celebrations. Founder and pastry chef Shantell Brown, a classically trained baker who studied at the Culinary Institute of America, blends professional pastry technique with nostalgic desserts. Favorites on the menu include cake pops, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered Oreos and a 6 inch cheesecake.

Custom orders are placed through the website or by contacting the bakery, and the bakery serves families across Washington County and surrounding areas. The shop is at 20140 Scholar Drive in Hagerstown, and the owner says the bakery grew out of a long-held dream and is named after her grandmother.
