Balance in Health

Balance in Health is a naturopathic medicine practice led by Dr. Ananda, who works with patients to identify and remove the causes of illness and set up routines built around nutrition and lifestyle. The approach relies on the body's own healing abilities and draws on nutraceuticals, botanicals, exercise and hormone replacement therapy. Conditions treated include anxiety, thyroid disorders, fibromyalgia, diabetes and high cholesterol.

Visits can be in person or by telehealth. Intravenous nutrient therapy, including home IV therapy, is available, along with specialized lab testing such as food sensitivity panels and comprehensive DNA stool analysis, and a far infrared sauna. The practice accepts several commercial insurance plans, but does not bill Medicare, Medicaid or a number of other plans, so call for cash rates. The office is on the northeast corner of 14th and Willamette in Eugene, with free parking behind the house.
