John Russell Brewing Company

John Russell Brewing Company is a brew pub in Erie that makes its own craft beer on site, with 24 beers on tap, including house-brewed selections and a rotating small-batch series. The kitchen runs a wood-fired brick oven for pizzas and flatbreads, alongside sandwiches, salads and appetizers, and the bar pours specialty cocktails. Beer to go is sold from the coolers.

The brewery occupies the original beer store, which opened in 2009, and brewing began on site in 2020. Outdoor bar and patio seating are available, and the pub hosts private events and sports team gatherings with an event planner to help. Reservations can be made online, and a rewards program earns points on every dollar spent. Gift cards are also sold. It is one of several John Russell Hospitality pubs in Erie.
