The Back Alley Surf Shop

The Back Alley Surf Shop pairs surf gear with specialty coffee drinks and locally made goods. It also sells its own apparel, including the Surf Minnesota crewneck and the Get There hoodie, through online pre-orders. The business started in 2017 out of an apartment's back alley and moved to a larger space in 2019, keeping the name from that original spot.

The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday in the morning and early afternoon, and it is closed Sunday and Monday. Local artists can ask about consignment rates, and live music and event bookings are handled by email or the contact form. The shop is on Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota.
