Lickey's & Chewy's Candies & Creamery

Lickey's & Chewy's Candies & Creamery is a medieval-themed candy store, chocolate factory and ice cream shop set in an old mill in downtown Dover. The candy side carries over 200 bulk candies, gummies and Jelly Belly jelly beans, along with imported British and European chocolates, Japanese sweets, Harry Potter candies and PEZ. The shop also makes its own chocolates, caramels, truffles, toffees, fudge and caramel apples, which are dipped in handmade caramel and made with honeycrisp apples. The ice cream menu includes 28 flavors of locally made ice cream and sorbet, plus shakes, sundaes, soft serve, shaved ice and French macarons.

The Kingshake, an extra-large themed shake loaded with toppings and meant for a king or queen, is a signature treat. Gift cards can be purchased online, and special orders are taken. The shop sits in the Cocheco Mills in the center of town, across from the Children's Museum of Dover, with off-street parking nearby.
