The Republic On Grand

The Republic on Grand is a cocktail bar and restaurant known for handcrafted cocktails, Italian-style flatbreads and a rotating cheese and charcuterie board. The menu also includes small bites like tuna tataki and deviled eggs, pasta and salmon mains, and a range of beers, wines and mocktails.

The bar sits on the sixth floor of the AC Hotel in downtown Des Moines, with views over the city. It hosts private events with a chef-prepared menu and a full bar, and sells gift cards. Carry-out lunch boxes for groups of 10 to 12 need 24 hours notice, and delivery is available. Food is served until 10 PM on Friday and Saturday, when the bar stays open until midnight.
