The Purveyor

The Purveyor is a European-style market in Des Moines' East Village that sells local charcuterie, wine on tap, and luxury baked goods from Doré Bakery. Guests can taste wines poured from the tap and buy fresh products from the market to take home or serve at a gathering.

The market is open Wednesday through Sunday, with the kitchen closing before the shop does each evening and on Sunday afternoon. The shop sells specialty wines and foods from Iowa producers, and it uses a free-flowing wine system to reduce bottle waste. Entrance is on East 5th Street, just around the corner from the Grand Avenue address.
