The-Continental

The Continental is a restaurant and lounge in Des Moines that has been open since 2005. The bar serves drinks from late morning until close, and the kitchen posts daily specials that change from day to day, so the menu on any given visit may differ from the last.

Live jazz plays on every other Saturday evening, so check the schedule before planning a night around it. The kitchen is closed on Sundays, and the restaurant takes reservations for parties of up to 35 people, which suits family dinners, office lunches and celebrations.
