Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is a downhill tubing park on the east side of Des Moines, known for its 600-foot SnowFlex slope that runs in every season. Riders float down on tubes and take a lift back up, and on special days skiers and snowboarders can try the slope as well. The hill is built for every skill level and is open to riders from age three and up.

The park is closed for the 2026 season, and its 2027 operating hours are expected to be posted in early February. Tickets are sold in advance online, and mini golf is included with admission. Snacks and concessions are available on site. The lodge hosts family reunions, birthday parties and corporate meetings, and the park runs seasonal events such as the Haunted Scream Park in the fall. Ski and snowboard tune-ups are available for drop-off.
