RoCA

RoCA is a downtown Des Moines restaurant built around shared plates, with boards, flatbreads, salads and entrees meant to be passed around the table. Handcrafted cocktails, draught beer and a wine list round out the menu. The kitchen can customize dishes for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests, and diners with allergies are asked to tell their server on arrival.

The restaurant is on Court Avenue, with metered street parking out front and public garages a few blocks away. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekend evenings, though walk-ins are welcome. Takeout can be ordered online for pickup, and the semi-private dining spaces suit celebrations, corporate dinners and family gatherings. The dress code is relaxed, and the room has exposed brick and warm lighting. The restaurant is closed Sundays.
