Nightingale Cocktail

Nightingale Cocktail is a craft cocktail bar on East Grand Avenue in Des Moines' East Village, known for seasonal, handcrafted drinks served at a relaxed pace before the room shifts to dancing. Its menu focuses on fresh ingredients and balanced cocktails, with signature pours and approachable favorites. A newly renovated outdoor space called Nightingale Nest has high-top tables, lounge seating, a fully stocked outdoor bar and an LED canopy.

From Wednesday to Sunday, live DJs take over around 9 PM, and resident DJs play open format, hip-hop, house, Latin and throwback sets. The bar also hosts private events for groups of 20 to 100, with bar service, sound and lighting, and outside food is welcome. Private rentals are subject to management approval, and the room is not available for public paid-entry or for-profit events.
