Mattress Disounter

Mattress Discounter is a mattress specialty store in Des Moines that stocks new mattresses and box springs in the most popular sizes, along with headboards, bed frames, and bedroom furniture such as chests, nightstands, and dressers. The store carries major name brand mattresses in a range of sizes and comfort levels.

The business has been at its current location at 4401 NE 14th St. since 1986 and is family-owned, with the next generation now running it. Prices are kept low by a no-frills approach to overhead.
