Krause Gateway Center

Krause Gateway Center is the headquarters of Krause Group, a privately held parent company with businesses in soccer, wine, real estate, restaurants, and agriculture. The five-story building in downtown Des Moines was designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop and opened in 2018. It houses collaborative workspaces, outdoor terraces, a rooftop garden, training and event spaces, a fitness center, and a curated art collection.

The building is open to the public for Allora Café, a modern, Italian-inspired café. Guests can book meeting, celebration, and special event spaces at the center. The building sits across from the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park at 1459 Grand Avenue.
