Francie's Bar & Grill

Francie's Bar & Grill is a neighborhood sports bar serving American-style lunch and dinner. The menu centers on half-pound Angus burgers, including a patty melt on light rye and a queso burger, along with breaded pork tenderloin, French dip and Reuben sandwiches, and nachos topped with house-made spicy beef or Italian sausage. Domestic and specialty beers fill the taps.

Seating is first come, first served, and the staff are known for being personable. There is a seasonal patio. The kitchen closes an hour before the bar on weekdays, and the restaurant is closed on Sundays. The bar sits just off Fleur Drive on Des Moines' Southside.
