East Village Spa

East Village Spa is a day spa offering massage therapy, facials and Hydrafacials, waxing, manicures and pedicures. Its licensed massage therapists, estheticians and nail technicians are known for lasting relationships with regular guests, and its signature massage is a custom general relaxation session with hot stones. The spa also sells skin care, bath products, jewelry and other gifts from a retail shelf in the front area.

Appointments are required, and bookings can be made online, by phone or through its app, which shows same-day openings. Couples' massages must be booked by phone. The spa is on the third floor of 300 East Locust Street in downtown Des Moines, reached by elevator from the north door, with metered street parking and a city ramp nearby.
