Oakwood Music Studio

Oakwood Music Studio teaches piano to children 4 and older and runs music and movement classes for babies and toddlers. Its piano lessons cover theory, technic, ear training, sight-reading, performing and ensemble playing, with guitar and horn lessons also offered. Students ages 6 and up can audition for competitive piano teams, and non-competitive ensembles are available.

Piano lessons are one hour long. The Let's Play Music program introduces beginning piano to 4 to 6 year olds, and the Discovering Music classes serve infants from newborn through 13 months with an adult. The studio's stated goal is to help students become proficient, independent music makers who keep music in their lives.
