A Great Start Preschool

A Great Start Preschool is a part-time preschool for children ages 2 to 5, with a private kindergarten program offered as well. The school is organized around learning centers in each classroom, including home living and dramatic play, library and cozy corner, art, science, manipulatives and math, and it aims to help children grow socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually and creatively.

The school is a licensed non-profit that was founded in 2004 and moved to Southminster Presbyterian Church in June 2014, where it uses seven classrooms and a fenced playground that is close to each room. Families can schedule a tour before enrolling, and the school has a door code entry system and security cameras. Enrollment is handled through an online form, and the school is at 7001 Far Hills Ave in Dayton.
