McCutcheon Music

McCutcheon Music rents and sells instruments, offers music lessons, and repairs and restores instruments. The shop has served the Dayton, Centerville, and Kettering area for over 35 years and lists teachers across theatre, brass, folk, guitar, orchestral strings, percussion, piano, vocal, and woodwind instruments. It also runs music therapy and early-music programs for children, including Music Together and Rhythm Kids.

You can request lessons through the website, and the online shop covers purchases when you cannot come in. The store is at 18 East Franklin Street in Centerville and keeps shop hours Monday through Saturday, with Sunday closed. The business was named Best in Dayton for 2024.
