ThunderWing Brewing is an American craft brewery on the west side of Columbus, making everything from light, easy-drinking beers to dark, robust ales, with plenty of hoppy options. The tap list often includes keg infusions and less common styles such as California Common and Dark Mild. A rotating lineup of food trucks, including Fetty's and Eye of the Tiger, usually parks on site.
The taproom has five pinball machines and a lounge with a TV for game day, and it hosts events such as taproom yoga, euchre and music trivia. Taproom hours run Wednesday through Sunday, with later nights on Friday and Saturday. The brewery sits on Scioto Harper Drive, and owner Jason Wing, a longtime homebrewer, runs the operation.
