Holcomb Counseling Services

Holcomb Counseling Services is a private therapy practice run by Brooke Holcomb, a licensed independent social worker. Her work centers on anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma, mostly using cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. She has experience with adolescents and with psychiatric assessments in an emergency room setting.

Sessions are offered in person or by telehealth, but clients must be physically in Ohio during each session because of licensing rules. New clients can book a free 15-minute phone consultation first, and first sessions are usually scheduled within a week. The practice does not do family or couples therapy, though family members can be included in sessions.
