Dog daycare, boarding, grooming and self serve baths6295 Templeton Gap Rd, Colorado Springs, CO
Smudge's Dog House offers dog daycare, overnight boarding, grooming and a self serve dog wash under one roof. It started in 2006 as Smudge Car & Dog Wash, pairing a car wash with a dog wash, and became a dog kennel in 2019 after nearby car washes were built. Its self serve wash tubs are made from actual truck beds.
Dogs spend the day playing in the facility and go into their own kennels only for lunch break and overnight, which sets the daycare apart from other kennels in town. Grooming is priced by breed and coat condition and starts at $65, so calling for a quote is the easiest first step. Daycare is charged by the hour and boarding by the 24 hours, and credit card payments carry an additional 3.5% charge. The business is in Colorado Springs.
