Fins & Feathers is a nonprofit avian and aquatic sanctuary that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes hook bill birds and freshwater fish. Its services include bird boarding, bird grooming, mobile bird grooming, cage cleaning, adoption consultations, DNA sexing for birds, bird training evaluations and pet surrender. Visitors can also book a Play with the Birds session to feed the birds and spend time with them in the sanctuary.
The sanctuary is at 5002 North Academy Boulevard on the north side of Colorado Springs. Appointments are needed for services, and pickups must happen at the scheduled time, with no early pickups. A coffee stand operates at the sanctuary on its own schedule, and there are no restrooms on site. Adoptions are handled through a consultation, and the nonprofit cannot offer refunds or returns.
