Rocky Mountain Beignets

Rocky Mountain Beignets makes French pastries with dough mixed in house and fried to order, finished with powdered sugar, honey or chocolate. The menu also includes coffees, lattes, cappuccinos and café au lait. The shop sells some gifts plus certified Louisiana products and local Colorado goods. It started as a food truck in 2019 and later opened a café in Manitou Springs, with this downtown Colorado Springs location added more recently.

Beignets are cooked to order, so the shop prefers guests come in rather than order by phone. Large orders of at least three dozen can be picked up or delivered, with advance payment required by phone. The beignets are fried in cottonseed oil and contain gluten, so they are not gluten free or vegan. The Colorado Springs shop is at 26 East Kiowa Street.
