Challenging golf with views of Old Tampa Bay2612 Cove Cay Dr, Clearwater, FL
Cove Cay Golf Club is a semi-public 18-hole golf course along Old Tampa Bay, known for challenging golf, wide views and plenty of wildlife. The course offers four sets of tees, from about 4,216 yards to 6,079 yards from the longest tees, so beginners and low handicappers both have a round to suit them. An 18-hole round rarely takes more than four hours.
The club is family owned and operated by PGA professionals Pat and Bill Shriver, who also run the Shriver Golf Academy on site. The clubhouse has men's and women's locker rooms, a golf shop, a practice range and the Bayview Grill, which has indoor and patio seating and serves lunch and dinner. Tee times can be booked by phone or online, and the club is cashless. The course is at 2612 Cove Cay Drive in Clearwater.
