South Paws Pet Service

South Paws Pet Service offers dog walking, doggie day care, in-home pet sitting and yard pet waste cleanup for pet owners in Chesapeake and nearby cities. Founded in 2013 as a solo dog walking business, it now handles overnight visits and boarding at its home base, and it also cares for cats, birds and other small animals.

Bookings are made by text or email, and founder Clare says the business never overbooks and sends regular updates by text during visits. Overnight sitting and weekend or holiday visits are available, and the business is open seven days a week into the evening. Rates are listed openly, with per-visit prices for walks and sitting, plus small surcharges for weekends and holidays.
