CHALQUEST KENNELS

ChalQuest Dog Boarding is a dog boarding kennel in West Chesapeake that has operated at this location under a variant of the ChalQuest name for more than 50 years. Each dog, or family pair, gets its own indoor and outdoor run with a raised cot, bowls, and individual playtime in a fenced patio and field. The kennel does not offer group play, and dogs are fed separately in their rooms.

Check-in and check-out require an appointment. Runs have air conditioning in summer and heat in winter, and the owners ask that owners note any dog that is grumpy or untrustworthy in certain situations. The kennel accepts unaltered animals. It is run by the Fernandes family, and the address is 2525 Saint Brides Road.
