Heart Math Tutoring

Heart Math Tutoring is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that places volunteers as one-on-one math tutors for elementary students during the school day. The organization works by helping schools use volunteers as tutors, following a structured curriculum. More than a thousand community members currently spend one hour a week tutoring in elementary schools.

Volunteers commit to one hour per week, and the group recruits tutors and accepts donations through its website. Heart Math Tutoring also runs programs in Charleston, SC and Winston-Salem, NC. Its office is on Charlotte Park Drive in Charlotte.
