beam Tutoring

beam Tutoring offers private, one-on-one tutoring for elementary through college students, covering math, reading, writing, science, foreign language and organizational skills. Test preparation for the ACT, SAT and end-of-grade exams is a major part of the work, and the team also helps families adjust to online school.

Beam is a female-owned small business run by Kerra Johnson, a former elementary school teacher, who completes each family's initial assessment herself and pairs students with a tutor. Sessions are flexible and can be held in your home, at a location of your choice or online, seven days a week. Families across the Charlotte metro area book through the website or by phone.
