Small-batch Italian varietals grown in Camp VerdeCamp Verde, AZ

Salt Mine Wine is a small family-owned vineyard and winery that grows Italian varietals such as Malvasia Bianca and Sangiovese on five acres of grapes. The vines were planted over the three years after the Norton family chose an historic farm site for the operation. Wines are made in small, limited-production vintages and sold at the vineyard itself.
Members of the Norton family live on site and take part in everything from vineyard work and harvest to winemaking. Visiting hours are noon to 5 PM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The winery sits in Camp Verde, Arizona, among pecan groves, pastures and roadside produce stands, and visitors can also buy local pecans and pick their own produce from neighboring farms.
