Farm to Fork cafe, cider and seasonal dishesCaldwell, ID

Peaceful Belly Farm is a family farm founded in 2002 by Clay and Josie Erskine that grows vegetables, herbs, flowers and berries, including more than 180 types of veggies, mostly heirloom varieties. The farm uses cover crops, compost, drip irrigation and companion planting, and does not use GMO seeds. Its Farm to Fork Cafe serves small-batch, seasonal dishes such as eggplant parmesan flatbread, ratatouille socca and a chile relleno bowl, along with local cider and wines from neighboring vineyards.
The cafe is open Friday through Sunday afternoons, with later hours on Saturday. Reservations, catering and menu questions go to the tasting room, and parties of nine or more need to call or email ahead, with a 20% gratuity added to large tables. The farm sits on Hoskins Road in the Sunny Slope area of southwestern Idaho, and its nonprofit, Polum Bolum, runs classes and community programs.
