Prospect Butcher Co.

Prospect Butcher Co. is a worker-owned butcher shop with two Brooklyn locations, one in Prospect Heights and one in Greenpoint. The shops butcher whole animals in-house and use locally and sustainably sourced meat, including air-chilled chicken, duck, pasture-raised pork, beef, lamb, offal and game from family-run farms. They also sell sandwiches, meat kits and gift cards.

The Prospect Heights shop is on Vanderbilt Avenue, and the Greenpoint shop is on Nassau Avenue, which has space for butchery classes. Orders can be placed online or as pre-orders. Both shops are open Monday through Saturday, with Sunday hours on a shorter schedule.
