Solution Focused Therapy

The CLR Group is a counseling practice led by Chesie Roberts, LPC, focused on substance abuse and mental health. The practice relies on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, with sessions centered on the present and future and on building a concrete picture of a preferred life. Services include anxiety and depression therapy, PTSD counseling, individual counseling, substance abuse treatment, and life coaching.

Addiction treatment is tailored to each client after an initial assessment, and the practice looks for clients ready to commit to change. Clients come from Mountain Brook and the wider Birmingham area, including Hoover, Homewood and Vestavia Hills, and the practice also works with students from UAB and the University of Alabama. Sessions take place in a private office in Mountain Brook, and telehealth is available.
