Cahaba Medical Care

Cahaba Medical Care is a community health center, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that provides primary care for all ages, including pediatric, women's health, prenatal and obstetric care, dental, mental health and pharmacy services. Its clinics also offer on-site ultrasound, X-ray, lab work, echocardiography, cardiac stress tests, fracture casting, wound care and endoscopy. Cahaba Medical Care serves patients regardless of their ability to pay, using a sliding fee schedule based on income and family size.

The organization runs locations across central Alabama, serving Bibb, Perry, Chilton, Shelby, Wilcox and Jefferson counties. Its main clinic is at 405 Belcher St in Centreville, and it also trains family medicine and other residents in its clinics. Patients can book appointments by phone or online, and there is a patient portal for health records and virtual visits.
