Birmingham Therapy Services

Birmingham Therapy Services is a group private practice offering nervous system-informed therapy for adults and teens. Its clinicians work with individuals, couples, premarital and marriage partners, and families, and they assess where clients may be stuck in fight, flight, or freeze responses. Many concerns are treated with a body-focused approach, including anxiety, chronic stress, chronic pain, trauma, and autoimmune or gastrointestinal symptoms. The practice also has clinicians experienced with first responders, healthcare workers, and legal professionals.

Therapy is available in person or through secure telehealth sessions on a HIPAA-compliant platform. Comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments with level-of-care recommendations are also offered. Appointments are mostly weekday daytime, with limited evening and weekend slots. The office is on Century Park South in Birmingham.
