Powder House Bend

Powder House Bend is a ski and snowboard shop that has been in Bend since 1976, and it describes itself as the town's original shop of its kind. It rents alpine, snowboard, Nordic, skate and snowshoe gear for winter and sells winter gear, along with boot fitting by Masterfit certified fitters and base repair, hot wax, edge tuning and binding mounts. In summer the shop shifts to patio furniture and water rentals such as kayaks, river tubes, paddleboards and life jackets.

The shop is at 311 SW Century Dr in Bend and is family-owned. Season leases and daily rentals are both offered, and rentals can be booked online. Boot fitting and tuning are done in-house, so the shop is a practical stop before a trip to the mountain. Hours are listed as daily from 9 AM to 6 PM on the website.
