Sporting goods in Bend

Sporting goods shops help you gear up for the outdoors, whether you need a new pair of hiking boots, a sleeping bag for a weekend trip, climbing shoes or skis for the season. Many also offer equipment rentals, outdoor apparel, and guided river trips, so you can try something before committing to buy. When you call or stop by in Bend, ask whether the staff can fit you properly and whether they rent the gear you need for a trial run. Check return or exchange policies before buying bulky items like skis or tents, and if you plan to pick up skis or snow gear, book a fitting or call ahead, especially on busy weekends.
