The MINDSet Center

The MINDset Center is a practice of therapists and certified tutors in Bel Air, offering individual and group therapy, psycho-educational assessments, and specialized tutoring. Individual therapy uses cognitive behavioral therapy for challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, anger management, grief, and parenting concerns. Group sessions run for 8 to 10 weeks for children, adolescents and adults, covering topics like social skills and self-esteem.

Assessments usually begin with an intake followed by one to two days of testing, with a feedback session afterward to review results and recommendations. Tutoring builds multi-sensory plans for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, reading comprehension or math. The practice also consults with youth athletes, parents and coaches on mental performance and recovery after injury. Appointments are made by phone, and the office is in Suite 210 at Emmorton Road, about five miles from exit 77B on I-95.
