Downtown Bangor Partnership

Downtown Bangor Partnership promotes and markets activities that strengthen the identity of the downtown district and encourages the growth of its commercial, residential and cultural life. It produces signature events such as two Sidewalk Art Festivals, First Friday art walks, Adopt-A-Garden and the Downtown Countdown, and keeps a business directory of the shops, restaurants and galleries in the district.

Anyone can browse the interactive downtown map and event listings, sign up for the newsletter, or submit an event for the community calendar. The partnership also runs Downtown Ambassadors and helps set up marketplaces and pop-ups. Its office is at 33 State Street in Bangor, and the district is described as a walkable mix of shops, restaurants, galleries and housing.
