Bangor Parks & Recreation Department

The Bangor Parks & Recreation Department runs the city's parks, playgrounds, trails, pools, ball fields, skate park, and municipal golf course. Its online facility list covers dozens of locations, from neighborhood parks like Hayford Park and Fairmount Park to cross-country ski trails in the Rolland Perry City Forest and Brown Woods. The department also handles facility rentals, harbor and waterfront permits, and registration for programs.

The main office is at 647 Main Street, and the facility list shows the Mansfield Stadium and Skate Park at 115 13th Street, the same address listed for this record. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Some facilities, including the Dakin Pool and Beth Pancoe Municipal Aquatic Center, are listed as closed on the current schedule, so check the facility list before heading out.
