Some Theatre Company

Some Theatre Company is an amateur community theater group that stages plays and musicals in a 72-seat black box theater. Its productions have drawn local awards recognition, including Broadway World Maine honors for acting, direction and design in several recent shows, and reviewers in the Bangor area often praise its ensemble work and bold storytelling.

The theater is inside the Bangor Mall at 663 Stillwater Avenue, with a maximum audience of 70 per show. Shows run at 7 PM and 2 PM, with separate entrances for each: the 7 PM shows use the Grey House ticket entry, and the 2 PM shows enter through the stage door. Seating includes reclining permanent seats, raked platforms for rows A through E, and a floor-level VIP row. Patrons who need ADA seating can message the company ahead of time. The company is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that also runs youth programs and auditions open to performers of all ages and abilities.
