Frugatti’s Italian Restaurant

Frugatti's is a wood-fired Italian restaurant in Bakersfield that has been around since 1923. The kitchen makes its pasta and bread in house and slow-simmers its tomatoes for hours, and the menu leans on Southern Italian cooking from owner Ralph Fruguglietti's family recipes. Its wood-burning oven was imported from Italy, and the beef is Certified Angus.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner for dine-in, the patio and takeout, and it takes reservations and online orders. There are vegan and gluten-free dishes, gift cards, and a wine cave that seats up to 54 for private events. Frugatti's also runs a catering service and a wine club with occasional winemaker dinners.
