Champs BBQ & Catering runs a barbecue restaurant and a catering service from a suite on Merle Haggard Drive in Bakersfield. The catering side publishes a catering menu and takes orders online, so groups can plan a meal without a long phone call. The restaurant serves barbecue during its regular hours, and the catering team handles larger orders for events.

Catering questions are answered by phone on weekdays between 10 am and 4 pm, and an email address is also listed. The restaurant keeps shorter hours, open weekdays until 7:30 pm and Saturdays until 7 pm, so it is worth checking before a late visit. Calling ahead is the quickest way to talk through the details of a larger order.
