UMich Off Campus Housing

Willowtree Apartments & Tower is a student apartment community in Ann Arbor, on the shuttle bus route and a walk or bike ride from the University of Michigan's North Campus and School of Engineering. It offers studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, with private bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and furnished or unfurnished options. Residents have a 24-hour fitness center, a swimming pool with a sun deck, and tennis, basketball and sand volleyball courts.

The on-site office is open weekdays and Saturday, with Sundays closed, and the staff can help with leasing and questions about the property. Leases usually run about 11.5 months to match the university calendar, with rent split into 12 installments due on the 1st of each month. Payments are made by card or ACH through the resident portal, since cash isn't accepted. Each resident needs a guarantor and at least $100,000 in liability insurance, which can be bought separately or arranged through the community. Roommate matching is available for students without one.
