TimePieces Personal Biographies

TimePieces Personal Biographies helps people record, write and share their life stories, turning interviews into a finished book that families can keep. The founder, Stephanie Kadel Taras, Ph.D., trained as an interviewer during her doctoral work and works as a professional writer, and she started the business in 2000 after writing her own grandmother's life story.

Clients usually live nearby in Ann Arbor, but the firm will travel anywhere in the country to conduct interviews. The rest of the project, including calls, mail and email, can be completed at a distance. The office is on Jewett Street in Ann Arbor.
